DSC_0281-EditTheresa Kiser is a children’s book author in Greenville, South Carolina. She writes picture books and fantasy adventure. Her debut picture book is A Little Catholic’s Book of Liturgical Colors (Holy Heroes, 2019). Her award-winning fantasy series The Manakor Chronicles includes The Firebrand Legacy (Saint Pancratius Press, 2015) and Death Dragon’s Kiss (Saint Pancratius Press, 2017). Kiser’s awards include Scholastic’s First Person Fiction contest (2005) and the IPPY Gold Medal Award for Best Juvenile Fiction (2016). Her writing has been published in The Catholic Miscellany, The Lettered Olive, Coup D’Etat, The Greenville Journal, and more.

Theresa Kiser is an active member of the Society of Children’s Books Writers and Illustrators, and leader of the SCBWI Greenville, SC Critique Group. She speaks for both youth and adult audiences on writing. She is also available for radio interviews, TV interviews, podcast interviews, speaking engagements, and school visits, and guest blogging.
